St. Michael School is excited to announce its next project to better the education of its current and future students. The SMS Building Committee with the help of Grunloh Construction and Walk Architecture are proceeding forward with plans to construct a school addition to replace the 1929, two story school building.
Our Goal
To build a cost effective, well designed school building where our students can learn and flourish through faith.
Why
The current building housing Prek through 4th grades and cafeteria was built in 1929 and has the following issues:
not ADA compliant
extensive brick and mortar deterioration
no central air / inefficient HVAC system
basement water issues
maxed out electrical system
leaky windows
estimated cost of renovation - $1.6 - $2.2 million
When
begin construction summer of 2023
completion by start of 2024-2025 school year
