PRAYER CAMPAIGN FOR LIFE: SEPT. 25 – NOV.3
The nationwide “Prayer Campaign for Life” has begun and continues through November 3rd. Please help to end abortion and fight physician-assisted suicide through Prayer and Fasting. St. Michael’s first Day of Prayer is Friday, October 4th from 8-5 with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and closing Benediction at 3 pm. A sign-up sheet is in back of church for continuous prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament until 3 pm, and for those unable to come to church, prayer times are open from 3-5 pm. If unable to sign up, please take some time to pray when you can. Our school children will be praying before the Blessed Sacrament at their assigned times.
Prayer and fasting throughout the 40 Days is encouraged. Fast from certain foods, or fast from comforts or entertainment. We fast in the hope that God will heal our lives and communities of the death culture. Please encourage your children to participate in the prayer & fasting also.
